Got 27 out of 30 for the routine, but it was the lowest score of the night
Breakdown: Katherine Jenkins covered her face with her hands after stumbling during her performance with Mark Ballas on last night's Dancing With The Stars
As any star who has competed on TV talent shows such as Dancing With The Stars or Strictly Come Dancing knows, the most important thing following a mistake is to always carry on.
But after a small mishap during her performance with Mark Ballas on last night's DWTS, Katherine Jenkins couldn't face continuing - stopping, unable to carry on, as she had what appeared to be a panic attack onstage.
After a particularly difficult move which saw Katherine bend over and Mark put his leg over the Welsh singer, she appeared to suffer some kind of injury on her back, causing her to stumble.

What happened to the diva? The 31-year-old falls and fails to finish her dance on Mark Ballas' knee
However, instead of putting the error behind her and moving on with the routine to Akon's Bonanza,, Katherine, 31, stopped stock still.
She immediately covered her eyes with her hands, gasping and shaking while Ballas soothingly repeated 'I've got you'.
Host Tom Bergeron also seemed concerned, telling her there was no cause to apologise.
Come on, darling: Mark attempted to comfort a clearly shaken Katherine, who burst into tears after her mistake
Concern: Ballas was clearly worried about his dance partner, with whom he has built a strong friendship
But despite the stumble, Dancing With The Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli didn't score the pair too badly - giving them a very generous 27 out of 30.
Katherine eemed shell-shocked, muttering over and over again: 'I'm so sorry Mark.'
She smiled briefly only when realising her score was relatively high for how badly she landed.
At least she looked good! The soprano bared her belly in a green genie costume
Before the drama: Katherine had appeared to be giving it her all earlier in the performance
She explained to her partner backstage: 'I just felt my back go as I bent. I'm so sorry if I've let you down.'
Katherine later wrote on her Twitter page: 'Thank you for all your concerned tweets... I'm with the Doctor, he says it was a reflectorical spasm in my lower back.'
At least she looked fabulous during her routine. Though earlier in the evening she said she was hesitant to show her stomach, she finally flaunted her midriff in a green belly dancer costume.
Shell shocked: Katherine Jenkins got emotional onstage after stumbling during her salsa on Dancing With the Stars tonight
Despondent star: The blonde bombshell looks resigned as she waits to hear her score
It was an emotional time for the mezzo-soprano, who had just watched footage of her relationship and eventual split from former fiancé Gethin Jones.
However, Katherine said she has found being on Dancing With The Stars cathartic, adding: 'The whole process has gotten me back on my feet again.'
Partner support: Ballas had to hold on to Jenkins after the show
Not too bad! Katherine managed a small smile after she realised the error hadn't cost them on the scorefront - as they got 27 out of 30
Her first routine went much more smoothly and earned her two tens from Inaba and Tonioli.
After performing a quickstep in hot pink flapper girl regalia, Carrie Ann couldn't help but rave: 'In order to make to the finals, you need to bring your A game.
Twenties girl: The singer was much happier after her first performance
Cry baby: The diva still got emotional even after a successful first dance
'I don't think you did that. I think you brought your A+ game. I think it might have been your best dance ever!'
The two scores combined meant that Katherine and Mark received the lowest score of the evening, with a still impressive 56 out of 60.
Backstage breakdown: Maria Menounos also got emotional behind the scenes
What's going on here? This moment actually occurred after Maria Menounos and Derek Hough's dance
Emotions riding high: The Extra presenter also seemed high on emotion after her first dance
Meanwhile, despite Maria Menounos having one of her best nights ever, she too was emotional during the ABC show.
During her taped segment, she cried because she didn't want 'to disappoint'. After her dance she admitted that appearing on the show wasn't about winning or losing, but self-achievement.
Another moment: The Greek beauty and her partner tied William Levy for highest overall score of the evening
Jumping for joy: The 33-year-old TV host was beyond excited after excelling during her second dance
She and partner Derek Hough scored straight tens across the board for their first dance, an Argentine tango.
Their chemistry was off the charts, as the two gazed heatedly into each other's eyes, breathing heavily after their performance was over.
By gosh he's gorgeous: Gratuitous William Levy shot here
Animal magnetism: Levy's sheer beauty earned him rave reviews -- and an overall score of 59
Their jive also earned them a high score of 29, tying William Levy for first place status.
The Latin TV star also earned a 59, first for a tango, then a samba.
Graceful pair: Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd had a perfectly lovely waltz
King of the dance floor: The NFL star has moves that he didn't learn on the football field
A supportive team: Glover's Green Bay Packers teammates were in the audience
His first dance caused Inaba to sagely note 'You're more than just a pretty face'; Tonioli gushed 'You were like the dictator of the tango.'
Donald Driver wowed with a sexy waltz and then nearly perfect samba.
He and partner Peta Murgatroyd earned an overall score of 58 and the third place position for the evening.
Who will go home? Of the remaining four teams, one must leave tomorrow night
An almost perfect ten: Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli handed out many tens tonight
