It seems that turning 30 obviously agrees with TV star, Nicole Richie, as the recent birthday girl showed off a fuller figure during a break in Mexico at the weekend.

The mother-of-two showed off her enviable curves and and looked rather gifted in the chest department as she lazed by the pool in sunny Los Cabos.

Surrounded by her celeb pals, including Samantha Ronson and rocker, Juliette Lewis, The Simple Life star looked happy and relaxed as she showed off her new look.

Sporting a couple of different bikinis that accentuated her curves, Richie also showed off her tan lines as she sipped on a cocktail.

Looking rather buxom, the actress-come-fashion designer, frolicked in the sea wearing a bright purple bikini.

She was later seen relaxing on sun lounger, tying back her wet hair and wearing a pair of black round sunglasses and clearly defying gravity.

The star has been criticised for her stick thin figure in the past and it was reported that she had an eating disorder a few years ago.

Sweet treat: Nicole Richie took her three-year-old daughter Harlow for ice cream in West Hollywood yesterday


If Nicole Richie had been told five years ago that she would be spending her days looking after two children and going for play dates she probably would have laughed.

But the former wild child turned doting mother continues to show how effortlessly she has taken to being a parent and spent a fun day out with her three-year-old daughter Harlow yesterday.

The duo stopped at a West Hollywood ice cream store to pick up a sweet treat which the little girl relished.

Girl time: The 29-year-old mother of two was joined by a friend of hers for the afternoon out


Nicole, 29, looked summer chic in a mini floral dress which she paired with a sleeveless denim jacket and black wedge sandals.

Her mini me also wore a dress covered in flowers and daintily carried her cup of ice cream which she ate as she walked.

Inside the store Richie also tucked into a cup of ice cream and chatted with a friend who also came along for the outing.

What diet? Nicole also tucked into a strawberry flavoured ice cream

Missing were the two boys in her life - husband Joel Madden and one-year-old son Sparrow.

The reality star has turned fashion designer and her accessory line House Of Harlow, and clothing line Winter Kate have both proved a hit with consumers.

Nicole has also apparently been whipping her body into shape with celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson.

Earlier this year Nicole was forced to deny reports she was expecting her third child when she was seen leaving a gym near her Los Angeles home with something a slight bump under her workout T-shirt.

She told celebrity website Gossip Cop: 'Contrary to recent speculation I am not pregnant.'

But it seems Nicole Richie has finally got it just right, judging by photographs of her in Canada on Thursday night.

The mother-of-two looked stunning in a black Winter Kate maxi dress, which clung to her lithe figure in all the right places.


Nicole, who is in Canada to promote her brand House of Harlow, was one of the celebrity guests at the relaunch party for department store TNT.

Ahead of the evening's entertainment, Nicole tweeted: 'Holy Toronto! What a warm welcome! Everyone here is so nice! See you tonight at TNT!! #Iheartcanada.'

Trendy: Nicole Richie's son Sparrow was the essence of kiddie cool as he accompanied his mother to dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Hollywood, today


Nicole Richie's children are quickly following in the footsteps of their parent's rocker chic style.

Accompanying their 29-year-old mother to dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Hollywood today, Harlow, three, and 18-month-old Sparrow where the essence of kiddie cool.

The tiny tots slipped into some trendy outfits for the evening outing.


Trendsetters: Harlow, who was also on the outing, emulated her mother's bohemian style, while Sparrow dressed more like his dad, Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden


Little Harlow emulated her mother's favoured bohemian style in a hippie style floral skirt and a blue tank top, paired with adorable pink ballet flats.

Sparrow on the other hand appeared that he was taking on his father Joel Madden's rocker vibe in an all-black ensemble consisting of a t-shirt, jeans and vest.

He paired the look with some skater style trainers and red sunglasses perched on his head.

At one point Sparrow took crayons out his mother's hand so he could draw fake tattoos on his skin, much like his father who is covered in the real deal.

His sister also sported a butterfly design on her arm.

In usual fashion, their mother was the epitome of casual chic cool in a pair of black jeans, a pink lace camisole and bike jacket.

She accessorised the look with a snakeskin clutch, black boots and aviator sunglasses.

Nicole was recently forced to shoot down rumours that she was pregnant with her third child after a furore of recent media speculation.

The former reality star was seemingly angered about the reports and released a statement calling them 'cruel'.

Earlier this month, Nicole and her husband Joel Madden had a brief honeymoon in Paris - their first getaway since tying the knot in December.

The couple have not announced plans to add to their family but Nicole recently told People that she is in married bliss and has enjoyed every minute of her marriage so far.
