Furious: Hulk Hogan is furious over a sex tape which has been released featuring himself and a mystery brunette woman
It was a trying time after he split from his wife Linda Hogan in 2007 and Hulk Hogan fully admits that in the next four months he went 'crazy'.
The former wrestler, real name Terry Bollea, bedded so many women that he doesn't know who made the sex tape - which has surfaced.
The footage is said to show the 58-year-old engaged in sexual relations with an unidentified brunette woman.
Speaking about the time the tape must have been made, after his split from Linda, Hulk told TMZ.com on Wednesday: 'It wasn't just one brunette I was running wild for a few months.'
He also said: 'I don't even remember people's names much less girls.'
The wrestling legend said the tape must be at least five years old because he has been with current wife Jennifer McDaniel that long.
He also wondered why the tape had surfaced now after being hidden for so many years.
He said: 'Why would someone hold onto this for at least five years.'
Hogan says that he was set-up, and that the tape, which is currently being shopped around, is an 'outrageous invasion of privacy'.
He also adds that it was 'secretly taped' and that he never approved of it's filming nor subsequent release.
In love: The woman in the tape is said to not be his wife Jennifer McDaniels, who Hogan is seen with here in January this year
'Terry Bollea is appalled at the unauthorized release of a secretly filmed video,' his lawyer David Houston said in a statement.
'(Hulk) neither approved of the filming nor the release of the same. It is clearly an outrageous invasion of privacy and breach of trust if it is genuine. We will take all necessary steps to enforce both civil and criminal liability.'
Steve Hirch, who is the founder of adult company Vivid Entertainment told website TMZ that he was offered the video from an unidentified person for a price.
The brunette in the movie is said to not be Hulk's current blonde wife Jennifer McDaniel, whom he wed in 2010 after splitting with his long-term wife Linda Hogan in 2008.
It is also unknown when the footage was taped.
This isn't the first time Hogan has been wrapped up in legal matters.
At the end of last year Hogan was suing his ex-wife Linda, claiming she lied and defamed him in her book.
Hogan filed the 18-page lawsuit in Florida.
It claimed Linda wrote Wrestling the Hulk - My Life Against the Ropes to help revive her career.
She wrote that her husband abused her during their marriage and had homosexual encounters.
Legal troubles: At the end of last year Hogan was suing his ex-wife Linda, claiming she lied and defamed him in her book
In her book she claims: 'Hulk tore my shirt, threw lamps, and held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments.
'I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages.
During an interview in June last year, she alleged that Hogan had a homosexual relationship with a fellow wrestler.
Hogan says the claims have harmed his reputation.
Linda received more than 70 per cent of the couple's assets in their recent divorce settlement.
