Satellite art: Sarah Jessica Parker wore a daring Philip Treacy design at the Crown Oaks Club Ladies Luncheon in Melbourne today
She's well known for her quirky style in Sex And The City, but it seems Sarah Jessica Parker is becoming more and more like Carrie Bradshaw off screen as well.
The actress arrived at the Crown Oaks Club Ladies Luncheon in Melbourne today wearing another outrageous Philip Treacy headpiece.
The 46-year-old is a big fan of the Irish milliner and chose to wear his designs at the two Sex And The City film premieres in London.
However, those designs seemed relatively normal compared to the one that Parker modelled at the Crown Palladium earlier today.
Wearing a tight-fitted Chanel tweed dress with button detail down the front, the mother-of-three looked chic in a pair of black stilettos - but chose to finish her look with a big statement.
The black curved headpiece looked more like a satellite dish than a hat as Parker struggled to see her audience as she took to the stage with a microphone.

Peek-a-boo: The mother-of-three looked chic in a Chanel tweed dress but her face was hidden by the quirky hat design
At one point the Failure To Launch star held her arms up in air - perhaps to show the audience that her fashionable piece of art was fitted firmly on her head.
However Parker certainly didn't disappoint the 1,500 mostly female guests who were eagerly anticipating her appearance - not just to hear her speak but to see what she was wearing.
She is in Australia to promote her latest film, I Don't Know How She Does It, and is also going to be a special guest at Oaks Day tomorrow - the third day of the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival.
No hands: The actress held up her arms to show just how firmly fitted the wacky design was on her head
And although Parker admitted she hasn't decided on her racing outfit yet - it seems she has decided on some more head wear.
'I will say I hope I live up to the history and the glamour and the tradition that has been so well established,' she told the audience today.
'And mostly I don't want to embarrass any of you and to be worthy of this gracious and very hospitable invitation.'
Famous hat maker Treacy revealed that he spent more than 200 hours on the silk and fibre piece that the actress wore today , and has also designed a headpiece esspecially for her appearance tomorrow.
'Fashion is about suspense and surprise, so tomorrow she is going to surprise everyone as well,' Treacy said. 'She's the ultimate fashion icon.'
Not the first time: Parker is known for wearing Philip Treacy's designs after she wore them to the Sex And The City London premieres in 2008 (Left) and last year too
More famous fans: Lady Gaga (Left) is a big fan of Philip's designs and wore this dollar headpiece earlier this month and Princess Beatrice chose to wear another one of his quirky designs to the Royal Wedding in April
In May last year, Parker wore a black netted headpiece to the premiere of Sex And The City 2 - which she teamed with a black Alexander McQueen dress.
And in 2008 she wore a green design to the first film's premiere, that consisted of big flowers and butterflies, and again more a stunning McQueen frock.
However yesterday, Parker left the hats in her hotel room and decided to show off her wavy locks at the official premiere of her new movie.
Wearing a multi-coloured print dress with white heels and a beaded necklace, the star admitted that she lives similar life to that of her latest character, Kate Reddy.
'I've left the house with bedroom slippers on, or food all over me that I didn't know was there,' Parker said.
'There's a certain time of day when the whole house looks like a crime scene.'
