Keeping it casual: Gwyneth Paltrow nips out for a coffee break in her jeans and trenchcoat while filming Thanks for Sharing in New York

Earlier in the week she was showing off her enviable figure in skin-tight Lycra, but yesterday Gwyneth Paltrow was keen to cover up as she nipped out for coffee.

The actress was on the set of her new film, Thanks for Sharing, in New York City and appeared coy in her tan trenchcoat and casual jeans.

Her ensemble, paired with knee-high boots and a simple white T-shirt, was a much more conservative look than what she was spotted in while kissing Mark Ruffalo on set the previous day.

The 39-year-old was seen playfully putting an arm on Mark Ruffalo's shoulder and laughing hysterically with him while wearing jogging gear on Tuesday.

And Gwyneth then took things up a notch with her hunky co-star by sharing an intimate kiss with the fellow Oscar winner, 43, in the idyllic setting of Central Park, New York.

The pair gazed into each other's eyes while sitting on a park bench, with Gwyneth's leg propped up on Mark's knee before they share an embrace.

And it appears the stroll send her down memory lane as she tweeted: 'Shooting in sunny central park. Reminds me of my youth. Whatever happened to bartles and jaymes? Could rock one of those things.'

Happy families: Gwyneth has been married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin since 2003, while Mark has been married to French actress Sunrise Coigney since 2000

While she has been seen getting cosy with her co-star both Gwyneth and Mark have their own families.

Gwyneth, 38, is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she has two children, Apple, seven, and Moses, five.

Mark has been married to French actress Sunrise Coigney for 11 years.
The couple have three children, Keen, Bella and Odette.

Sporty star: Gwyneth donned to exercise outfits as she filmed scenes for the movie which tells the story of three people undergoing a 12-step treatment plan for sex addiction

Look at me go! In another scene, Gwyneth was seen biking around Central Park in a pair of spandex pants and a T-shirt

In the comedy movie, Gwyneth plays a businesswoman, Phoebe, who falls for Mark's character.

It tells the story of three people undergoing a 12-step treatment plan for sex addiction.

Joely Richardson, Tim Robbins and Pink also star in the movie which is slated for a 2012 release.

In other scenes Gwyneth was seen riding a bike, sporting a pair of Lycra workout leggings, a grey printed T-shirt and a helmet.

Her looked fresh-faced and her blonde hair was pulled tightly off her face into a ponytail.

All in a day's work: The cameraman trailed alongside Gwyneth as she filmed the biking scenes as civilians looked on, watching the action

She also stretched her body out by throwing her leg up on a wall.

In another shot, the star donned a black sweatshirt as she went for a run.

It was clearly been a long tough morning for the actress, who was also showing off distinctive sweat patches under her arms.

She laughed and chatted with Ruffalo, who helped her perform the exercises.
Paltrow is an avid health and fitness fan, posting many nuggets of tips and advice on her personal website GOOP.

Fit girl: Gwyneth has credited her trim figure with doing 45 minutes of cardio five times a week

Back in April, the star credited her svelte figure to celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson.

'I never thought that I'd be considered to have a good body,' she told Self magazine. 'I was bony up top and kind of dumpy on the bottom.

'But my trainer, Tracy Anderson, completely changed my legs, butt, arms and stomach. I feel better than ever, too.'

It takes 45 minutes of cardio five times a week to get Paltrow in shape, with the star also trying to do '45 minutes of muscular structure work, which is toning, realigning and lengthening.'

With a little help from my friends: The star went for a run with three girlfriends in the park as she filmed scenes for the movie

Talented: Mark won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2010 movie The Kids Are All Right

She added: 'If I'm prepping for something or I've been eating a lot of pie, I do two hours a day, six days a week for two weeks.

'I've found what works for me. I know if I put in an hour and a half, five days a week, I'm good.

'If I'm on vacation and, like, "F*** it, I'm not working out," I know what to do when I get back.'

The star also relies on remarkably healthy snacks to get her through the day.

She told Self she ate: 'Raw almonds with raisins, or coconut water, or I'll make a juice with kale, lemon juice, water, Vitamix and a little agave.

'I try to avoid barbecue potato chips. They're my weakness.'

Getting a touch up: The mother-of-two received the star treatment as makeup artists tended to her face before the cameras rolled

It has migrated from there: The pair were seen getting close earlier in the day, with Gwyneth placing a playful arm on Mark shoulder as she laughed hysterically
