He's supposed to be shooting his latest film One Shot.
But Tom Cruise seems to be taking rather a few breaks from the set.
The Mission: Impossible took daughter Suri and wife Katie Holmes on a ride at Schenley Plaza in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he is on currently on location.
Child's play: Suri Cruise enjoyed a ride on the Carousel and smiled for the cameras
Daddy's little girl: Tom Cruise takes daughter Suri on a ride at Schenley Plaza carousel in Pittsburgh
The trio all rode the merry-go-round, with Suri choosing a pig and a seal, Katie opting for an ostrich and dragon, while Tom picked the eagle and seahorse.
Family man Tom also carried a toy panda, presumably for his little diva, five.
A little mismatched: the child wore an over sized pink and grey striped t-shirt with a patterned skirt
Yesterday, the girls visited Tom, 49, on set for his new film based on the 2005 novel by Lee Child.
The crime thriller follows a homicide investigator as he attempts to solve a case involving a military sniper who shot five random victims.
Me and my panda: the Mission Impossible star looked rather happy as he rode with the cuddly toy
A serious moment: Tom and Katie have a discussion while Suri looks on mesmorised
Family day out: Tom took a break from filming One Shot, where Katie and Suri had visited him on set this week
The film also stars British actress Rosamund Pike, Hollywood veteran Robert Duvall and documentary-maker Werner Herzog; while The Usual Suspects writer Christopher McQuarrie directs.
Following their adventure on the carousel, the trio walked back to their hotel after grabbing some lunch and a Starbucks at nearby area Shadyside.
Isn't she a little old for that? Tom carries Suri off the carousel, even though she is five-years-old
Holding hands: the couple strolled with the young daughter, but Katie couldn't take her eyes off of her phone
Hey lucky day: A fan captures the Cruise family on her camera as they take a stroll through Pittsburgh
During their stroll, they were accompanied by several people dressed as zombies taking pat in Zombiefest 2011, which seemed to leave little Suri a little scared.
But if she gets into the habit of visiting her parents on set, then she may be in for a shock when she visits Katie on her latest project.
Girls just wanna have fun: Suri pushed her toy pram around as her parents guided her along
Mummy duties: Katie held Suri in her arms as Tom greeted fans on the street, still holding the panda
Bemused: Suri seemed a little confused by the people attending Zombiefest, but Tom was in good spirits and waved to onlookers
The former Dawson's Creek actress has landed the part of Slutty Pumpkin in a guest role on CBS' hit programme How I Met Your Mother.
She'll appear on the show's upcoming Halloween episode later this month.
