Expectant parents: David Schwimmer grabs onto his pregnant wife Zoe Buckman's stomach at the Trust premiere

Expectant parents David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman couldn’t stop smiling at the premiere of his new film Trust in Los Angeles last night.

The couple are expecting their first child this summer and Zoe took the opportunity to show off her burgeoning bump during her husband’s big night.

The former Friends actor directed the drama, which stars Clive Owen, Catherine Keener and Jason Clarke.

Owen and Keener play the parents of a teenage girl who becomes targeted by an online sexual predator.

The suburban family is torn apart when the 14-year-old meets her first boyfriend online, and after months of communicating over the phone and internet, finds out her friend is not who he claimed to be.

Schwimmer is also currently filming Madagascar 3, as the voice of animated character Melman, which he last portrayed in Madagascar 2 in 2008.

But his attention was on his pregnant wife last night and he showed his affection by holding her stomach protectively.

The two married last June after three years together and revealed the pregnancy earlier this year.

His 25-year-old wife looked lovely in a colourful floral dress and sleek locks alongside a dishevelled-looking David.

The 44-year-old was sporting a beard and a charcoal jacket with black trousers and a lime green shirt.

Clive Owen was also showing off his facial hair at the screening, with an unusually thick moustache.

The British actor is currently filming Hemingway & Gelhorn, in which he plays Ernest Hemingway.

The drama is centred on the romance between Hemingway and WWII correspondent Martha Gelhorn, who became his third wife.

She was his inspiration for For Whom The Bell Tolls and the only woman who ever asked for a divorce from the writer.

Nicole Kidman will star as Martha and Robert Duvall also joins the cast.
