Kick off: Justin Bieber boots one of his dancers in the throat during the first night of his UK tour
Bieber fever hit Birmingham last night as the teen idol kicked off his world tour.
Canadian pop idol Justin Bieber, 17, performed to thousands of screaming fans - predominantly teenage girls - during the sell-out concert.
And in what appeared to be a dream combination for tweens everywhere - his support act was latest pop sensation Willow Smith.

Accompanied by her actor parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith watching from the wings, the 10-year-old warmed up the crowd at the National Indoor Arena.
In scenes reminiscent of Beatlemania, the fans screamed through the two-hour concert as Bieber performed some of his biggest hits including Baby and Somebody To Love.
He broke hearts when he chose a girl from the audience to sing One Less Lonely Girl.

Happy fan: Justin picked a young girl from the crowd to sing to and presented her with 12 red roses declaring there was now 'one less lonely British girl'
He picked the young girl from the crowd to sing to and presented her with 12 red roses declaring there was now: 'One less lonely British girl.'
Although he didn't attempt a Brummie accent, he did speak in a Cockney accent in a bid to 'speak British'.
The teenager also spoke of his love for the national dish, fish 'n' chips.
After the climax of the show, the teen took to his Twitter page: 'Incredible night! #MYWORLDTOUR is BACK.
'Really happy to be back on tour with my fans. I've missed it.'

Beliebers: Justin performed in front of 12,000 adoring fans last night during his 90 minute set
He also Tweeted his support for Willow, who performed Whip My Hair and her new single 21st Century Girl.
He wrote: 'Willow is killing in the opening set. Super proud of her and excited for you to see it. Me and Jaden watched like proud big bros.'
After her first ever major gig, little Willow Tweeted: 'The show went GREAT!!! Thank you, Birmingham.'
She Tweeted a photo of her backstage with her troupe of mini-dancers.

Earlier in the week Justin celebrated his 17th birthday with girlfriend Selena Gomez, 18, with a whole day of activities followed by a candle-lit dinner for two.
The young couple dined at Los Angeles Italian restaurant Maggiano’s Little Italy in West Hollywood.
