Victoria Beckham said in an interview this week that thanks to social networking, the public are finally getting to know her sense of humour.

It was case in point for the designer today, when she posted a picture of herself playing flight attendant en route to China.

The 38-year-old sat in the jump seat and pretended to make an announcement over the loudspeaker. She captioned the picture: 'Cabin crew prepare for landing! Welcome to Beijing!!

One of the flight attendants got in on the joke, pulling a face and pointing sulkily at Victoria.

Mrs Beckham also posted a picture of her pushing baby Harper in her pram through what appears to be the first class lounge, during a short stopover in Hong Kong.

As always, the former Spice Girl is immaculately dressed, in a dress from her Victoria by Victoria Beckham collection.

It is a putty coloured version of the design wore by Julia Roberts on the red carpet at the Jesus Henry Christ premiere the day before, which Victoria excitedly tweeted a picture of.

Thanks to her tendency to pout in front of the cameras, Victoria has gained a reputation for having an icy demeanour- something she vigorously denies.

Speaking to Women's Wear Daily this week, the mother-of-four said that her use of Twitter has allowed fans a glimpse inside her home life and realise that there is a softer, funnier side to her.

'I try to give some personal insights to my followers as well as keeping them abreast of the business,' she told WWD.

'I also think that my fans and customers really get to know me and my sense of humour through my tweets. I think people see the real me.'
