But small screen star Sofia Vergara looked every inch the Hollywood siren in her latest shoot for the Spanish July issue of Vanity Fair.
The 39-year-old was seductive in a clinging black dress, teamed with sultry red lipstick and smoked-out eyes.

Sofía also graced the cover wearing a strapless red silk playsuit, cocking her head back as she reached for a puff from a cigarette held lazily in her right hand.
There's no doubt that the Colombian beauty's incredible appearance defies notional stereotypes of female stars, who are increasingly thought of as being at their 'peak' in their teens and twenties.
She's certainly putting her fame to good use, and has recently made an effort to reach out to a fan in critical condition in hospital.
Sofía recorded a touching video message for Georgia student Aimee Copeland who is suffering from a flesh-eating disease, and has had her left leg, right foot and both her hands amputated.
The actress said in the message, recorded in New York City: 'We always have you in our minds and we also believe that you are such a strong person'
We're so proud of what you've been doing and going through.'

'And we hope the best - hopefully I can meet you soon and give you a hug and tell you how much we're so amazed about what you've been going through.'
Meanwhile Sofia Vergara's on-off boyfriend Nick Loeb is said to have bombarded a prostitute with text messages and threatened criminal action.
The National Enquirer published a story last week claiming the wealthy businessman is a 'sex addict who indulges in multiple-partner cocaine-fuelled orgies'.
Loeb strenuously denied the claims - but the Enquirer is now reporting he has texted a Miam-based woman, demanding: 'Why are you doing this to me? This is very serious... You need to call me.'
This comes after Loeb rubbished claims he partied with a plethora of beauties at any one given time - while dating Vergara - with 'porn playing on all the TVs and liquor flowing like water'.
The aspiring politician said: 'I am mortified that false illicit behaviour has been attributed to me.'
He told Page Six: 'It’s hurtful and unfair. My first priority is to protect the people I love, and I hope they are not impacted by these lies and irresponsible reports.'
Sofia and Nick split last month after reportedly constantly fighting, but they seem to have reconciled in recent weeks and have since been seen out in New York looking happy together.
Page Six also report that Loeb is now considering legal action.
