Merry Mariah: In a new version of her 1994 hit All I Want For Christmas Is You, Mariah Carey manages to upstage Justin Bieber


There has been much hype surrounding teen sensation Justin Bieber's Christmas collaboration with Mariah Carey.

But, while his army of 'Beliebers' may disagree, the 17-year-old singer has been completely upstaged in the music video for the pair's reworking of her festive classic All I Want For Christmas Is You.

While the Baby singer squeaks his way through his verse, Mariah shows him how it's really done as she belts out the familiar 1994 hit dressed in a provocative Mrs Claus outfit.


The 41-year-old wears an off-the-shoulder red mini dress with white fur trim and black high heel boots.

Gold chandelier earrings, a Santa hat and a gold bell complete the look.

The mother-of-two shimmies near a Christmas display inside Macy's department store, where shoppers on the street have been invited to a midnight spree by Santa Claus.

She is dancing between two Christmas trees and a pile of brightly-wrapped presents when Bieber and his friends enter the store.

The teen is transfixed by the sight of Mariah, walking past her with his mouth gaping.

Justin chimes in to sing the second verse of the much-loved song, performing in the empty store in a festive red checked jacket.

Later the duo team up to hand out presents to shoppers from atop Santa's sleigh before cuddling up to a cute puppy.

The new version of the song appears on Bieber's Christmas album Under the Mistletoe.

The record also contains classic Yuletide numbers Silent Night, Drummer Boy and
The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire).

The singer was left red-faced during a recent performance to promote the album when he forgot the Lyrics to Santa Claus is Coming To Town.

During an appearance on The Today Show last week, Bieber flubbed the lines on the well-known carol, covering his error by singing the same 'Making a list' line several times before falling silent and dancing around.

Under the Mistletoe also features duets with his mentor Usher, Boys II Men and Busta Rhymes.
