Look familiar? Tulisa Contostavlos poses with fellow judges Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh in very similar dress to Cheryl Cole
Perhaps the stylists should have taken a more subtle approach.
But Tulisa Contostavlos has morphed further into former judge Cheryl Cole with an identical dress, hair extensions and brooding gaze.
The new X Factor panellist looks like she's been lifted out of Madame Tussauds as the now-departed Girls Aloud singer's doppelganger.
Quirky: Cheryl Cole also had a Syco makeover and developed a taste for edgy clothes
The N-Dubz star was famed for her street style, most notably her velour tracksuits, large hoop earrings and occasionally peroxide locks.
But since signing up to the singing programme, the 23-year-old has transformed into a Cheryl look-a-like with a designer wardrobe.
Time will tell if Tulisa can catapult to stardom and be a household name.
But she is clearly enjoying her time on the series before the live shows have even started, tweeting today: 'had a great day at boot camp & I'm really excited about the talent this year, Bring on 2moro! Bed time 4 me.X'
Old versus new: Tulisa sports a completely different look with N-Dubz bandmates Dappy and Fazer at the Radio One Big Weekend in May 2009
She is clearly determined to make her mark in the showbiz realm, having already dipped her toes into the world of silver screen.
Tulisa, who went in front of the cameras for British film Demons Never Die, has signed up for a comedy gangster film.
The MOBO-winner will play girlband member Shanikwa in Big Fat Gypsy Gangster, a movie described as ‘Snatch meets This Is Spinal Tap.’
Doppelganger: Tulisa has continued to morph into former judge Cheryl Cole since signing up to The of X Factor, and is seen here in a very similar bandage dress
Rochelle Wiseman will take on the role of bandmate Jodie.
Louis Walsh is the only remaining member of the panel from the original series, with newbies Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland joining the line-up.
The eight series of The X Factor starts on Saturday at 8pm.
